Welcome to Rockingham Theatre

We are a not-for-profit amateur theatre company, which is also a registered charity, run entirely by our members and volunteers, and have been providing high quality live theatre in Rockingham since 1972.

Rockingham Theatre Company is the only amateur theatre company in Rockingham and stages at least four productions each year.

We cover various genres of live theatre including comedy, drama and musicals and each production is made possible entirely by dedicated and talented volunteers from our local community and the surrounds. Everyone is made welcome.

We also run a youth program for age groups 7-11 and 12-17.

Our purpose-built theatre has a tiered seating capacity of 117 and wheelchair access. All the funds raised from our shows is used to produce future entertainment and to maintain and upgrade our facilities. We receive no government or other funding other than any grants that we apply for and receive, We are also a tax-deductible gift receipient, so any monetary donation over $2.00 can be claimed as a tax deduction. The theatre is available for hire at reasonable cost for speech nights, lectures, networking events or other functions and has a bar and kitchen. Hirers are responsible for obtaining any licenses required e.g. an Occasional Liquor Licence.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Rockingham Entertainers Inc will be held at the Rockingham Theatre, 8 Attwood Way, Rockingham on Monday 24th November 2025 – commencing at 7.00pm

Positions on the Board that will become vacant and will be voted on at the AGM are:

2x Ordinary Board members

As per the Constitution please note the following in regard to nomination of Board members:

(1) Before an AGM, the secretary must send a written notice to all the members — (a) calling for nominations for election to the board; and (b) stating the date by which nominations must be received by the secretary to comply with sub-rule 22.

(2) A member who wishes to be considered for election to the Board must have been a financial member of the Association for a minimum of two consecutive years.

(3) A member who wishes to be considered for election to the Board at the AGM must be nominated for election by sending a written notice of the nomination to the secretary at least 7 days before the AGM. Both proposing and seconding members must be financial or life members for at least 6 months prior to the AGM date of 24th of November 2025.

President’s Report.
Treasurer’s Report and the receipt of the annual balance sheet profit and loss and accompanying accounts and report of the Auditor.
